William Lee Wiedner

William Lee Wiedner left this life to be with our lord Jesus on Saturday, Feb 28th.

Bill was born December 20, 1951, in Washington D.C. He was a resident of Divide, CO since July 1966 and attended Woodland Park High School.

He is survived by his sister Dorthy Ann, daughter Regina, 3 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Wiedner and Betty (Jones) Wiedner. 

"Bill" was a cowboy in heart and soul and loved his family, horses and dogs fiercely. He spent his life operating heavy equipment and long-haul trucking. When he wasn’t working, he was raising and training horses and running cattle.

Bill's memorial service will be held Saturday March 7, 2026 at 10:30 am at Mountain View United Methodist Church in Woodland Park.  Following the service a light lunch will be served and burial at the Divide Cemetery is expected to be at 1:30 pm.
