Wayne Lea Shirley

On November 14, 2024, Wayne Lea Shirley left us to join his Lord and Savior. Wayne came into this world on January 3, 1964. He was born to Clifford Shirley and Lesley (Claxton) Shirley in Banbury, England. Wayne's father left the U.S. Air Force shortly after and moved the family to Texas. Having lost his mother as a young teen, family was important to Wayne. He often told stories of the shenanigans that he and his siblings engaged in. Wayne was a kind and loving man. He was always willing to help others even if he himself went without. As an adult, Wayne lived in Texas, California, and Oregon before settling in Cripple Creek, Colorado with his brother, Christopher. 

Wayne leaves behind his sisters, Donna ((Fred) Price of Naples, Florida, and Cathy Bousquet of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and his brothers, Christopher (Lauren) Shirley of Cripple Creek, Colorado and David Shirley of Cleburne, Texas, also his nephew, Christopher, and his nieces, Cassandra Bousquet, Alexandra Bousquet and Christina Murguia. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Clifford, his mother, Lesley, and his beloved niece, Christina "Nicole" Mabery.
