Travis Dain Obituary

Travis Wright Dain, 80, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021.

He was born April 1, 1941 in Bell, CA. Travis was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Linda Sue Dain (Back), on February 7, 2020 and daughter Charlotte Joy Dain on October 25, 1967.

He met and married his wife, Linda, in Tucson, AZ, and went on to become a copper miner. Then moved to Kingman, AZ, where he worked a variety of jobs, to include mining, owning a restaurant and a gas station. He was an Allstate Insurance Agent in Phoenix, AZ and retired after 30 years.

In recent years, Travis volunteered with Gideon’s International and several local outreach programs in Elizabethtown, KY. His last year of life he joyously attended Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, CO.

He is survived by his daughter Elette McFarland (Van), daughter Robbin VanDeusen (Joey), son Travis Dain (Tamye), brother Courtney Dain (Margaret), 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately.
