Timothy Carter Obituary

Timothy Ernest Carter passed away at his home on May 20th, 2022, in Woodland Park, CO at the age of 63.

He was born June 27th, 1958, in San Jose, California to Joann “Jokie” Lee and Donald Carter. He did a lot of traveling due to being in a military family and Galena, Illinois is where Tim grew up as well as graduated from Galena High School in 1976. He briefly relocated at the age of 18 to Florida before going back to Illinois, and finally coming to Colorado Springs, CO, calling it home.

He worked in the tech industry for nearly 40 years working with Litton, Apple, SCI, and finally Oracle.

He was an avid Denver Bronco fan but was always passionate about many sports including basketball and baseball.

He is survived by his two children, Rebecca Carter, Ryan Carter, his grandson Xander Carter, his brothers James Carter, Mike (Julie) Lee, and many nephews and nieces.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Donald Carter, mother Joann Lee, as well as his sister Susan Miniaci.
