Sherri Wilson Obituary

Sherri Dawn Wilson, 63 years of age, died surrounded by her family at home in Woodland Park, Colorado on Friday the 16th of October 2020. She was a longtime resident of Westminster, Colorado. 

Sherri was born in Denver to Donald and Mildred Patton on May 17, 1957. She is survived by her brother Kent (Gloria) Patton and sister Claudia (Robert) Martin.She attended Denver public schools and graduated from North High School in 1975. She met her husband Dave on a blind date and was married on Feb 3 1979. 

She worked at General Novelty, Coca Cola, Lionel Play World, and Leprino Foods. She retired from Jefferson County Schools after serving as a school secretary for 22 years. She enjoyed hiking, camping, attending exercise classes, crafting, church activities, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Sherri supported her church, Peace Lutheran in Arvada Colorado, by running Kingdom Quest sunday school children's program for three years, helping with the early learning center, vacation bible school, and ran the Mission 4 Military small group for 10 years.  

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dave, sons Brian (Victoria) and Kyle (Ashley) Wilson and five grandchildren Evan, Leyna, Nolan, Liam and Grant. 

Viewing will be held at Peace Lutheran Church 5675 Field St, Arvada, CO 80002 on Wednesday October 21st at 1000. Memorial service and luncheon to follow.
