Sean Vincent Cullen

Sean Vincent Cullen passed away at the age of 59 at his home in Divide, CO on February 13, 2020 after a long battle with cancer.

Sean was born on May 26, 1960 to Thomas and Imelda Cullen in Dublin, Ireland. He had two sisters, Michelle and Nora who always made him proud and made him smile. He was married to Dawn Rene` Sharb on October 15, 2011. He adored her and she him. They changed each other’s lives and healed each other’s hearts. Sean was a tradesman with an engineering degree and spent most of his career as a Facilities Manager in the medical field. Sean loved old cars, music, his family, his friends and learning how things worked.

Sean is survived by his wife Dawn Cullen. His parents Thomas and Imelda Cullen, and mother in law Joyce Sharb. His sisters Michelle Cullen and Nora Flaherty. His children - Megan Cullen, John Cullen, Derek Cullen, Christopher Martin, and Sarah Martin. His grandchildren – Owen Cullen, Oliver Cullen, Amy Cullen and Annabella Cullen. His nieces - Kylee Flaherty, Brandy Forehand (mother of Olivia), Emily Archibald (mother of Josiah), McKenna Sharb, Lilly Sharb, and Taylor Sharb. His nephews - Johnathan Archibald, Ethan Sharb, and Justus Sharb. His sisters in law - Alicia Archibald, Connie Martin, and Meiko Parker. His bothers in law - Randy Sharb, Matthew Sharb, David Sharb, Bob Parker, and Bill Buschell. His best friends of 45 years David Knudsen and Chris Knudsen, as well as many other relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly, in whom his memory will go on.

His wife would like to give special thanks to Sean’s family who welcomed her as one of their own, Dave and Chris who kept Sean talking until the end, her mother Joyce who cared for him in his weakest days as if he was her own son, Cancer Treatment Center of America in Zion IL, Peter from Abode Hospice who did a wonderful job of making Sean comfortable on his last day, and all of those who have sent prayers to heaven for us as we walked though this hard time. The prayers were, and still are being, felt.
