Russell Wywias Obituary

Russell Lynn Wywias age 64 at time of death. 09-07-1960 to 08-06-2025. Death in Colorado Springs, Co. Russell was a resident of Florissant, CO for 20+ years. Death was due to a stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer. 

DOB 09-07-1960 in Ft. Worth, Tx. Parents Richard and Ruby Wywias. Widowed wife Rhonda Wywias. Moved to Colorado in the late 80’s. Worked as a printer pressman for 30+ years. Loved to golf, hunting, fishing and watch the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. He also enjoyed being with his grandkids. 

Survived by his brother Randy Lee Wywias of Arlington, TX. Daughter Kayla Elizabeth Followill and fiancé Julio Alberto Ortega Jr of Levelland, TX. Daughter Staci Lee Gorzkiewicz and Husband Dominic Paul Gorzkiewicz of Cripple Creek, Co. Daughter Sarah Nicole Wiedman and Husband Eric Matthew Wiedman of Cripple Creek, Co. 

Grandchildren Meilani Faith Followill, Iris Lynn Marie Pedzinski and Augustus Lee Wiedman. 

Predeceased by wife Rhonda Wywias of Florissant, Co. Father Richard Wywias of Arlington, TX. Mother Ruby Wywias of Ft. Worth, TX. Brother Richard Wywias II of Galveston, TX. 

No services. Family will be spreading ashes on our own. 

Thank you to all of our wonderful friends and family who have helped us along the way. This was a long hard battle for us all.
