Roy Arvid Wallen

Roy Arvid Wallen, 73, born January 31, 1952 in Denver, Colorado entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 27, 2025.  Known as Arvid to his family and friends, he died peacefully at his Woodland Park, CO home.

Arvid leaves the love of his life, Kris, his wife of 21 years, his brother Aric and sister-in-law Shelley, his children, Matthew (Lindsay), Anna (Kevin McMichael), and Jared (Kirsten) and their mother, Sue, his bonus children, Tara (Hank Smith), TJ Skeens (Carrie), and 14 grandchildren, Canaan, Zoe, and Abby; Gracie and Ray; Roy, Silas, and Guthrie; Morganne, Taylor, Declan, and Carson; Rylee and Grayson.

Arvid is preceded in death by his father and mother, Roy and Shirley, his brother Alvan, and his beloved Australian Shepherd, Cassie.

He was a talented artist, gifted musician, a Biblical storyteller, and an avid reader, especially of the Bible.  He was a man of strong faith, a friend to many, a devoted family man, and loved the Lord.  He will be missed!

An open Celebration of Life will be held at Woodland Park Community Church on November 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM, 800 Valley View, Woodland Park, CO 80863.
