Rose Ann Keifer

Rose Ann Keifer “Rosey” “Rosebud”, 63, passed away at home in Divide, CO on March 16, 2024 at 6:30 PM during the horrific snowstorm.

Rose was born on March 2, 1961 in Cleveland, OH to Phillip Daniel LaRoque and Patricia Ann (Pardiac) LaRoque.

Rose married Richard “Kevin” Keifer in November of 1982 in Tooele, UT. They welcomed two children, Danielle and Kyler.

Rose got her High School Diploma/GED in Tooele, UT and attended Cosmetology School in Colorado Springs, CO. She opened the family business with her husband, Kev’s Auto & Truck Repair and helped run it for 20+ years. She worked for Bronco Billy’s since 2012 as a cashier.

Rose was adventurous and loved speed, 4 wheeling, camping, fishing, water crafting, snowmobiling, and crafting. She liked butterflies, unicorns, angels, and dream catchers and her favorite color was purple

Rosey was very kind-hearted and caring and a loving, loyal friend that was always there for you.

However, she was never afraid to speak her mind.

She will be greatly missed by all.

Rose is survived by her beloved husband, Richard “Kevin” Keifer; devoted daughter, Danielle Michelle Keifer and loving son, Kyler Nathaniel Keifer; cherished grandchildren, DeJaviar CoVon Moots and Jasmyn Neakelle Moots; loving mother, Patricia Ann LaRoque; one older half sister, Camille Cecceralli; two younger sisters, Sharon Keele and Colleen LaRoque; and 2 younger brothers, Daniel LaRoque and Kiley LaRoque; and let’s not forget, everyone’s favorite cat, Gizmo!

She is predeceased by her loving father, Phillip Daneil LaRoque (05/15/2015), cherished sister, Deborah (LaRoque) Benton (07/10/2018) and nephew, Kelley Phillip Keele (08/05/2020).

Celebrating the Life of Rosey will be held Saturday, July 20th, 2024 from 1-3 pm at Chamonix (Bronco Billy’s), Saloon Ball Room, 201 Bennett Ave, Cripple Creek, CO, 80813
