Ronald Earl Petticrew

Ronald Earl Petticrew, 65, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and husband of Nancy Petticrew, passed away on March 29. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia April 28, 1960.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Joe. He is survived by his children Jessica, husband Brian, and son Lucas Knudson, Nicole, husband Trevor, and daughters Sophie and Harper Neese, Son Ronald Jr., wife Jill, and stepdaughters Adrianna and Destini (Minnifield) Petticrew, Daughter Katherine, husband Jayson, and children Max, Maverick, Maddox, Meredith, and Maybelle Baker.

He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Coontz out of Norfolk, Virginia, from 1978 to 1982. He worked various jobs throughout his life. He worked the last 20 years of his career as a slot Technician at Bronco Billy’s Casino in Cripple Creek.

He loved his family, the Vikings, the Rockies, fishing, any outdoor activity, and working on his lawn, which he prided himself on.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm on April 11 at Woodland Park Community Church, 800 Valley View Dr., just off Hwy 67 north in Woodland Park.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family requests that those who attend please wear a Minnesota Vikings or Colorado Rockies shirt, or a purple shirt.
