Ronald Martin Obituary

“Bear” was born August 12, 1946 to Reverend Leon and Mrs. Dorothy Martin.

Bear was a professional graphics artist. He was an accomplished musician, jeweler, leather worker, stained glass artist, painter, glass blower, tattoo artist, and semi-master at many other trades.  He was a very outgoing and free spirited man.  It can be truly said that Bear never met a stranger. He had a heart as big as the world itself.

In August of 1990, Bear married the love of his life and soulmate, Glenda, at the Sturgis 50th year anniversary rally.  Married for 32 years, together for 38, Bear and Glenda were an unstoppable pair.  They were loving and so accepting of all people it didn’t take long before strangers were family.  They were both cover-to-cover bible believing followers of Jesus.

Bear lost his soulmate in May of 2022 and a short seven months later, which to him living without her must have seemed like a lifetime, he has gone Home to be with her again.

Because everybody was family to Bear, he’s left behind more people than can be mentioned here.  Bear is survived by his six children: Brett Martin, Joel Martin, Kay Ann Burger, Ralph McEnnerney, Vanona Sharples, Shane Beauseau. Grandchildren: Brittany Faye Duer, Joshua Daniel Day, Donovan McEnnerney, Samantha Yong, and John “Crash” Monger. Great grandchildren: Carver and Kennedy Duer, Alex and Araya Day, Jayden, Isabella, Aurora and Scarlet Moon.

Celebration of Life was held on January 7th at the 4 Mile Community Center County Rd 11, Florissant CO.
