Robert B. Quist

Robert Quist, who went by “Bobby” was born August 30, 1955 to Gertrude Barr Quist and Carl Quist in Lake George, Colorado. Bobby lived, went to school and worked in Lake George his entire life. He passed away Sunday June 16, 2024 in Colorado Springs.

Bobby was a heavy equipment operator for many years and ran an excavation business in Lake George. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and rockhounding with his friends and family who he loved.

Bobby was survived by his siblings; Alberta L. Quist of Florissant CO; Carol J. Kelzer (Dan) of Monticello, MN; Anita B. Wenslick of Lake George CO; Lisa P. Quist of Craig CO; Carla J. Quist of Denver CO; George L. Quist (Jennifer) Lake George CO; and 15 nieces and nephews who all loved their uncle Bobby. Bobby is Preceded in death by his father Carl A. Quist and mother Gertrude A. Quist and his brothers Fred E. Quist; Frank A. Quist; Stephen H. Quist (Sara) and his sister Judy Quist.

It was Bobby's request to have his ashes scattered in a private gathering with his family. The family would like to extend thanks to everyone who has offered their
help and condolences.
