Celebration of Life and Legacy of Robert B. Coen Jr.
Bob, Son, Husband, Daddy, Brother, Papa & Papi to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, companion, leader, mentor and friend to many…
He walked with silent steps, but left enormous footprints. He spoke softly, but his words resounded through all the earth for everyone to hear. He did not talk a lot, but he said it all.
Our amazing daddy fulfilled his life here on earth and entered the arms of the heavenly father at 6:57 mountain time Feb. 4th 2020.
From One Man’s Dream, here we are!! The legacy and seeds he planted will bear fruit for eternity. Now He will be able to see it all. That which has all ready bloomed and that which will bloom because of him. As we all held Him and sang he entered in with total Peace and Joy knowing his legacy is eternal. He finished well. The Father was there to tell him “Well Done, you left it all on the floor my good and faithful servant.”
Mom and Dad just celebrated their 50th anniversary last November (18,250 days). All who knew him knew it was important to be an amazing husband, daddy, grandfather, great grandfather and faithful friend. We all shared Christmas together this year.
He believed in living your best life. One of his favorite sayings was, "let your walking do your talking". Well he lived that, you knew who he was by the way he lived his life. He was a man of his word. He was loyal to the end, and the most giving man we know. He was a champion to help and fight on behalf of the persecuted and less fortunate.
The best way we can honor him is, when we find stable ground and our new normal, is to go and live our best life possible. To him that means to find peace and true happiness and to be the best people we know to be.
He has left such a long amazing legacy. Which was obvious to anyone at the hospital in his final moments. The sea of tears that were wept for him were not only out of sadness but from our true love and to honor the warrior that he was as he passes on to heaven and enters into the great cloud of witnesses.
We will miss his baby blue eyes, his smile, his passion for learning, his love for bettering community, his laugh, his little sayings and mannerisms, his inquisitive mind, and his heart for grand and amazing things. When you were talking to him you always knew you had his undivided attention and felt like you were the only one in the room.
Take a moment to tell the people you love how special they are. Don't forget to tell them everyday how you feel.
