Richard Wheeler peacefully went to heaven on December 15, 2023.  Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Rick had spent the last 8 years in a place he referred to as heaven on earth….Cripple Creek, Colorado.  The view of the mountains made his day everyday.  

Rick will be remembered as a son, brother, friend, uncle and cousin who had a heart of gold.  He was patient, loving and always wanted the best for everyone.  

He’s already enjoying the view of the mountains from the best seat in the house.  

Rick’s life will be celebrated privately by his immediate family members.  If you’d like to do something to celebrate his life, pay his kindness forward and do a good deed for someone.
