In loving memory of Richard Charles Larsen (also known as Richie)
Richie was born in Garden Grove, California to Shane Steward and Melanie Larsen.
Richie graduated from CCV in 2013. He loved music, drawing/coloring and hanging out with his friends. He had the best smile and could light up any room. He always had a good sense of humor and would make us all laugh with the silly voices he used to make. He was so kind and loved everyone. He loved to hang out with his dad and play games or watch movies.
Having 3 sisters, they had to stick together since they were outnumbered. On major holidays like thanksgiving and Christmas, Richie and Olivia would play a never-ending game of monopoly with Grandma Rose. (It would really go on for hours.) Growing up with 3 sisters and one being the same age, it was always a challenge. Richie and Olivia were the dynamic duo. They would take off their shoes and socks and toss them in different aisles all throughout the store. The bag of grapes never made it to the cashier full because they would eat them by the time we reached the front. Tarah was the oldest and was her mom’s helper. Being 5 ½ years older than Richie she really looked after him and spoiled him every birthday and Christmas. Elizabeth, the youngest sister was born when Richie was almost 11. Elizabeth was the typical little sister. She would go into his room and take his stuff without asking or play his game. He was so kind that he never actually minded. As they both grew older, they developed a good bond.
He was always one of the smartest people that I had ever met. I was convinced that he was going to grow up and be the next president.
Our hearts are broken without you here, now you have peace. Fly with the angels and watch us from above.
