Otto “Butch” Graham
August 30, 1955 – January 6, 2025
Otto “Butch” Graham, 69, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Divide, Colorado, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025. Born on August 30, 1955, in Oklahoma City, he was the beloved
son of Martha and Otto Leroy Graham Sr. Butch’s life was a testament to living with a full heart and a fearless spirit. Known for his contagious zest for life, Butch was the life of every party, leaving those around him smiling and uplifted. From a young age, his entrepreneurial energy shone bright, most notably as the proud owner of "Butch’s Stone Pony" bar and later “Factory Direct Flooring and Cabinets” in Teller County, Colorado.
A man of the outdoors, Butch found joy in nature and the mountains of Colorado, where he spent his time skiing, riding ATVs, rafting, and savoring Coors Banquet beer by the pool table.
Sports were another passion; playing rugby, softball, golf, and darts. He was also a dedicated football fan, never missing a game cheering on his beloved Oklahoma Sooners or Denver
Broncos. Butch met the love of his life, Gayla, in the late 1980s. Their love story, filled with adventure and devotion, led them to elope in Las Vegas on February 7, 1988. Together they danced through life and traveled widely, until Gayla’s passing in 2015—a loss Butch carried deeply in his heart.
He is survived by his daughters, his greatest treasures: Grace Graham and Amie Martin; and his cherished grandchildren, Taylor Griffin and Jackson Martin. He also leaves behind his
beloved brothers, David Graham, Randy Graham, and Ronnie Graham, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of lifelong best friends. He was preceded in death by his
parents, his brothers Carlton Graham, Ricky Graham, and Mike Graham, and, most significantly, his soulmate, Gayla Graham.
Butch will be remembered for his kindness, infectious laughter, and unparalleled ability to bring people together. He lived life unapologetically on his own terms, filling every moment with joy,
adventure, and love. To Butch Graham: may we all raise a glass in his honor and embrace life as he did—with courage, laughter, and boundless passion. He’ll forever remain in our hearts. Cheers to a remarkable man!
