Orice D. Turner

Orice Turner was born Oct. 23, 1931 in Denver, CO, and returned to the Lord on his birthday October 23, 2021.

Orice grew up in Denver, graduated high school and went into the US Navy on Sept. 6, 1950 and served through 1956.

Orice returned from service and married the love of his life Betty Brown, and was blessed with two beautiful daughter: Rosie and Jennifer.

Orice then joined the Colorado State Patrol on May 30, 1966 and retired on March 15, 1987.  After retirement Orice worked for the El Paso County Sherrif's Office from 1988 - 1999.

Orice was a man's man who followed the Golden Rule.  He loved God, his family and his country accordingly.  He was a protector of his family, the citizenry of Colorado and the nation.  

He loved God and spread the word of Jesus Christ to many imprisoned people.  He touched and even saved many lives through his preaching in our local jails.

Orice was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lester and Evelyn Turner; and his devoted wife of 67 years, Betty, who passed away earlier this year, and who he is now reunited with in God's Kingdom.
