Norma Jean (Blacketer) Jones went to be with the LORD the morning of December 25th, 2024.
She was born to Maurice and Ruth Ellen (Ellis) Blacketer on June 24, 1931, in Cameron, MO. She married her high-school sweetheart, Donald L Jones on December 16, 1951, while he was on leave from Korea. From this union they had a daughter Janice Kathleen.
Jean worked for the U.S. Geological Survey in Golden, CO and at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood. In 1977 the family moved to Lee's Summit, MO, where she began a carrier with the IRS, retiring as an office auditor. She was a member of Toastmasters, Lions Club & Korean War Veterans Association.
She was preceded in death by her baby brother, Jerry Lee; her parents, her husband of 62 years and her son-in-law Chris Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter, Jsn Wilson of Florissant, CO; 2 grandchildren, Ryan Wilson(Kaitlyn) of Florissant, CO and Sammi Tatro (Steve) of Montgomery, AL and six great grandchildren.
