Miriam A. Annan, a Woodland Park resident, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021, at her home. She was 68 years old. Born in Iowa, but raised in San Antonio by her loving parents, she was one of 5 children.
Miriam met and married Paul Annan in San Antonio, TX, and they moved to East Texas where her husband worked for World Challenge, Inc. and they raised two children; moving to Woodland Park, CO in the late 1980s.
Miriam enjoyed blessing those she knew and strangers she just met. Her favorite pastime was entertaining guests. She loved doting on her family, grandchildren, and friends.
When becoming fully disabled over the course of more than 10 years, she braved the pain and maintained a positive, optimistic frame of mind.
Miriam was loved by her husband of 49 years, her children Alisha and Justin (spouse Jannelle), her 4 grandchildren, her brother Timothy, and many extended family members and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Mark, and her two sisters Mary and Rebecca.
