Michael David Shepherd

Michael (Mike) David Shepherd  was born in Tulare California to Mary Asbury and Billy Shepherd on March 18th 1959. He passed away in his sleep in Florissant, Colorado, on February 10th 2025. 

Mike was a longtime mechanic and roofer. He began his career in the central valley of California and moved to Florissant Colorado in 1996.

Mike is survived by his three children, Pebbles Johnson of Missouri, Mike Shepherd Jr of Florida, and Michele Shepherd of Tulare California and many grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Kenny. 

Mike was an incredible mechanic and all around handyman. He worked for over 25 years for his longtime friend Bert West. 

Mike loved to ride his Harley, explore the mountains, and just be outside. He loved to share memories of past friends and events and he definitely had the gift of gab.

In his later years he devoted much of his time and energy to his five dogs. He loved to tell stories about their antics and they put a smile on his face.

There will be a memorial in the near future at Mountain Memorial in Divide CO.
