Michael David Moran Sr.

Michael (Mike) David Moran, Sr. passed away at his mountain home in Divide, Co on Monday October 17, 2022 from a massive heart attack. 

Mike was born February 24, 1957 in Santa Monica, California to Maida and David Moran. 

Mike enjoyed his life through various hobbies, including outdoors activities such as camping and fishing. He was an avid racer before the birth of his first son, Michael Moran, Jr.  In middle age, Mike worked in various occupations for Northwest Airlines. He continued to work for the airline until he was placed on disability. He then filled his time with activities and projects around the house and with family time and excursions. 

Mike is survived by his wife, Jill Laramie-Moran, his older sister, Marlena Dover, his step-children John Meggitt and Alana (Meggitt) McKinney, children Heather Auer, Andrew Auer, Nick Auer, son Michael Jr, and daughter Melaney Moran. Through Heather Auer, Mike has three grandchildren (Chloe, Allie, and Taeyha). Through Andrew, Mike has four other grandchildren (Jersey, Kamie, Aidan, and Bethany). 

The family will hold a viewing at Mountain Memorial Funeral Home Friday afternoon, October 21, 2022.
