Michael Shane Evans

Micheal “Mikey” Shane Evans passed away on August 13, 2024.  He was born in Colorado Springs on July 25, 1968 to Julia Lofland and Stan Evans.

Mikey attended Agape Grade School in Green Mountain Falls and Doherty High School in Colorado Springs.

For many years, Mikey worked as a cook at The Pantry in Green Mountain Falls.

Mikey was a happy, fun and funny person who would give you the shirt off his back.  He was famous for his good hugs. He loved rock climbing and axe throwing. 

Mikey is survived by his mother, Julia Weidner of Green Mountain Falls, his father, Stan Evans of Michigan, his stepfather, Bill Weidner of Divide, his sister Regina Senehchia of Divide, his aunt, Dorothy Dietemeyer, nephews Brandon and Keith Day and Kyle Ritchie.

Mikey loved and was well loved.  He will be forever missed.
