Michael John Brost

Michael (Mike) John Brost passed away at his home in Colorado Springs, Friday, 4 April 2025, he was 71 years old. He passed away surrounded by his wife Dagi Brost and step-daughters, Candy Kaufmann of Texarkana TX and Angela Strong of Lena IL. 

Michael was born in Milwaukee WI, but after a short stent in the Army, he settled in Colorado Springs and loved living here.

He is survived by his loving wife Dagi Brost of Colorado Springs, his father, Harry Brost of Florissant Co, his brother, Tim Brost of Colorado Springs, his sister and brother-in-law, Corinne and Stan Thomas of Athens AL, grandson, Matthew Strong of Lena IL and is preceded in death by his mom, Mary Ann Brost and grandparents, Harold and Katie Hoover of Fountain City WI.  Michael's true loves were first and for most his wife, family and friends and all his dogs, especially his dog, Scout. 

His other loves in his life included his friends, the mountains, closely followed by his Harley and the Denver Broncos.  He loved the outdoors and spending time with his closest friends some of which he knew for 50 years.

There will be no service, his life will be celebrated by family and friends in a small gathering to remember how much he was loved and all the great times shared with him.
