Martin Anderson Obituary

Martin Joseph Dean Anderson

(AKA Furyous LOC)

July 4th, 1989 – January 19th, 2020

Martin Anderson, age 30 a fifth generation born and raised native of Colorado Springs, CO. Beloved son of Victoria Hertzka-Johnson and Ted Johnson, passed away unexpectedly while visiting family and friends in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Sunday, January 19, 2020.

Martin lived in Casper, WY with his Fiancé Kimberly Haun and her two daughters. Where he was employed in the oil industry as a welder for Granite Peak Fabrication. His dream was to make it to the top in the Oil business like his brother in law to be. Martin also had been speaking of becoming a Pastor. Going to church was a favorite thing for him. He also volunteered as church security for Rock of Ages Casper.

Martin was a larger than life person, admired and loved by many. He had a special way and a charisma about him that touched so many people. He was the oldest brother of four, Lawrence Lee (O’Bie) Anderson, Jacob N. Hertzka lll (Alexsandra Hertzka/Sunnie Hertzka) and Malik Omar Muhassel.

Martin was a true leader and was the glue of our family. His humor and wit would just make you laugh and would make some question his humor. He loved his family deeply and made sure the world knew it. Overall, he was very proud to call himself a mama’s boy. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend.

Martin is survived by his fiancé Kimberly Haun, daughter Victoria Anderson, parents Theodore Johnson and Victoria Hertzka-Johnson, grandparents Donna Anderson (late Martin K. Anderson), Randy Gearhart (late Laura Gearhart), Marge Johnson, his uncle Harold Anderson (Kirstein Anderson, Kinney and Travis), his beloved stepchildren Jayden Miller, Maci and Oakleigh Diekemper and Analise Dunlap. Along with his brothers he had stepbrothers and sisters as well, Austin Johnson, Joseph Stegenga, Skye Seymour and Amie Konkol. He is also survived by numerous family members such as Randy and Anna Barnett, Chuck and Rita O’Dell, Allen and Linda Haun, Tim Vasquez, Kyla Miller-Anderson, Leslie Miller. And countless other family members and close friends. As I said, he was very loved and cared about.
