Mark Stephen Edwards

Mark Stephen Edwards, born in Midland Michigan on January 11, 1960, and departed this world
on January 20 th , 2024. Mark passed away in the early hours of the morning at home in Fairplay
Colorado with family nearby. He is survived by his wife Rachael, Daughters Kami, Jessica, and
Callie, grandchildren Gavin and Katlin, Mother Lauraine Edwards, brother and sister-in-law Paul
and Joie Edwards, sister Pamula Tyler, nieces’ nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mark attended high school in Michigan. After leaving school he entered the Navy on January
30th 1978 and received an Honorable Discharge on July 21st, 1980. He moved to Nebraska and
later settled in Colorado. He was kind with an easy sense of humor, a good friend and hard
worker. He enjoyed spending time with his Family and golfing with the boys. He was involved
with many fundraisers and was also a member of the Fairplay American Legion. He will be
sorely missed.
A memorial will be held on May 25th at the Fairplay American Legion Post 172,601 Clark Street
Fairplay Colorado at 2:00
