Marjorie Camp Obituary

On the morning of August 3rd, 2025 the world shined a little less bright as Marjorie Starr (Robertson) Camp passed away peacefully in her sleep after a journey of having dementia. She was born July 4th, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia and led a life full of love , laughter, and adventure. She spent her early years as an only child, doted on by her family giving her the nickname Starrbaby. She told many stories of the adventures she went on with her cousins and the mischief that she always seemed to find herself in. She fell in love with James Camp Jr. and got married and had 5 beautiful girls and from there found her passion for helping anyone that needed it. Taking in those who needed a place to stay and helping any of her daughter's friends that needed it - they all ended up calling her mom. She took her girls on many adventures and made sure that they felt loved. Her caretaking didn't stop there, she had 17 grandchildren that thought the world of her. Sharing her love of God and stories and southern slang, she captured the hearts of all. 36 great-grandchildren and the same amount of love was given, up to the very end where she expressed how much she loved them with all her heart and soul. She is survived her daughter Debby grandchildren and great grandchildren David &Heather, Cohen, Zoey, Nicholas & Savannah (baby), Joseph, Tyler, Alexis, Makala, Georgia, Joseph Jr., Josh & Brooke, Caidyn, Brelynn, Briar, Bristol, Brantlei, and Benjamin.
