Louis Jaramillo

Louis Jaramillo, of Rocky Ford, Colorado, passed away peacefully on the morning of February 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage, their six children, and sixteen grandchildren.

Louis earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Colorado College before pursuing his Juris Doctor (J.D.) at USF School of Law. He dedicated much of his life to advocating for social and racial justice, using his legal expertise to support those in need. A tireless activist and organizer, he fought for the rights of farm workers and championed civil and human rights.

Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, brother, and son who cherished his family deeply.

His service will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Colorado Springs on Friday, February 28, at 10:00 AM.
