Lloyd Larsen Obituary

Lloyd M Larsen passed away on March 23, 2024, at Memorial Hospital of natural causes.  He was born March 1, 1938 in Cripple Creek Colorado.  He was the son of Paul Arthur Larsen and Alice Rosina Stoner.  Lloyd was born, raised, and graduated High School in Cripple Creek, Colorado and then joined the United States Navy.  He graduated from Colorado State University and then went on to teach Vocational Agriculture in Eastern Colorado.  After moving to Divide in the 1970’s, he became a mechanic for Schmidt Construction Company until he retired to continue caring for his horses, cattle, and dogs on his ranch. He was a lifetime member of Victor Elks lodge #367, Lifetime member of The Woodland Park Saddle Club, member of Pikes Peak Range Riders and a member of Soil Savers.  His passion was raising and training Quarter Horses and Border Collies and he loved his cows. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Jody Lynn Larsen-Lloyd, Brother James Arthur Larsen and Stepmother Francis Nelson Larsen.  Lloyd is survived by his long time significant other Dailynn Bockhahn.  Brother Paul Norbert Larsen “Norbie”.  Estranged daughter Marty McKenna, nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
