Linda was born on March 28,1948, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Leo and Delores Sak. Linda was raised in Thornton, Colorado and graduated Mapleton High School in 1966.
She married Andy Ruscio shortly after graduation and followed her parents back to Omaha where she gave birth to her daughters Lora and Jeannie.
Linda followed Andy to Minnesota where they started "The Old School House Furniture Store". Several years later they moved back to Westminister, Colorado. After the retirement of Linda's parents to Norco, California, they joined them and Linda worked for Pierce Brother-Crestlawn Mortuary.
In 1997, Linda and Andy moved to Cripple Creek, Colorado, for their retirement. Although retired, Linda spent some of her time working at several casinos.
Linda is preceded in death by her father Leo, mother Delores and her husband Andy. She leaves behind one brother--Larry (Jane), her two daughters--Lora Ruscio Frietze (Gilbert Aguirre) and Jeannie Ruscio Hamacher (Lonnie); five grandchildren-- Ashley Frietze Gomez (Brandon), Brandon Frietze, Stephanie Aguirre, Kyle Tapia (Bessie), Katie Tapia Pastoral (Eddie); and five great grandchildren--Emma and Bentley Tapia, Rylan, Reese and Lucas Pastoral.
Linda passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in her sleep on May 22, 2021 at her home in Cripple Creek.
Linda will be missed by all that knew her. Rest easy untill we see each other again.
