Lawrence Duane Hanahan

Lawrence Duane Hanahan, born on December 4, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away on May 4th, 2025 at the age of 72.  He was a devoted husband, a Loving father, and a cherished friend, whose warmth, steady presence and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Lawrence was a proud graduate of Main East High school. He built a life grounded in Love, commitment and dedication - especially to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Mary, and their children: Son Patrick and his wife Mallory, and their children Agnes and Jack; Daughter Katie; Daughter Jennifer and her husband Tony, and their children Julian and Emma; Son Ryan and his wife Ciena; and Son Paul and his fiancée Lauren

Lawrence's greatest joy was his family. He found happiness in the simple things - spending time together, sharing stories and watching his grandchildren grow.  His steady presence and quiet sense of humor will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 1:00pm at Mountainview United Methodist Church, located at 1101 Rampart Range Road, Woodland Park, Colorado 80863. Friends and family are invited to gather in celebration of Lawrence's life.  For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed online.  Details provided by the church 719-687-3868.
