Lance Richeal passed away on April 22nd, 2024. He was 71 years old and went peacefully in his sleep. He lived in Hartsel Colorado on the Ranch of the Rockies, in the mountains he loved. He was born – Lance Errol Richeal, son of Milton and Helen Richeal in 1952 - in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. His siblings were- Larry, John, Jeff, Lee, Jimmy, and Kip Richeal. He married Diana Lynn Binder of Beaver Falls, the daughter of Albert and Lois Binder, in 1973. Diane and Lance were married for 43 years until her death in 2017. They raised 2 daughters in Colorado – Racquel M. Leadens and Jolene R. Richeal. Diane and Lance have 5 grandchildren, Wyatt, Morgan, Domanic, Rhett, and Caleb. Lance is survived by his daughters and all 5 of his grandchildren, He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and 5 of his brothers.
Lance adored his grandchildren, who all lovingly called him Pap. Lance was a different man around them, staying up late to rock them to sleep, on the ground playing while they were little, and teaching them patiently as they aged. He was hardworking and supported his small family throughout his lifetime. He was dedicated to his wife and children and was the first to lend a hand when someone was in need. He was a good neighbor, friend, and mentor. He loved the outdoors, NASCAR, golf, and especially 4-wheeling in the mountains. He loved to watch movies, the same ones, repeatedly and was completely at peace doing so. He was a good man with a calm spirit. He was patient and wise. He loved deeply, in his own way. He will be greatly missed.
If a day ever goes by that I don’t say I love you, know always that I do. 143 Always Dad
