Kristy Marie (Brown) Jett

Kristy Marie Jett (nee Brown) left this earth at the tender age of 32 on Friday, May 10th, 2024. She passed peacefully in her sleep at her home in Morrison, CO.

She was born in Colorado Springs on August 18th, 1992 to Todd and Delsa Brown. She was baptized at Taylor Chapel and spent most of her life in the Cripple Creek/Florissant area. Later, she was married to her love, Matthew Jett, at the same chapel.

Kristy was eclectic in her tastes. She loved and cared for animals of all kinds especially her dogs, Ziggy and Riley. She was an excellent cook and baker delighting family and friends with gourmet meals as well as decadent, sometimes sugar-free, desserts. She was also an artist whose specialty was drawing and wood burning. 

She is survived by her husband, Matthew Jett, her parents, Todd and Delsa Brown, and her brothers Brandon Brown and Tim Brown.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Taylor Chapel. Her father, Todd, will be the officiant. A reception will follow at the nearby Brown home. (A map to the service location can be found by clicking the Tribute wall link above.)

Everyone who knew Kristy will remember her bright smile and cute giggle. More than that, they will remember how she brightened their lives by being their true friend.
