Kevin Thomas Bland

Kevin Thomas Bland, 43, of Colorado Springs left his family and friends too soon as the result of a motorcycle accident on August 3, 2024. He fought hard for his life but ultimately succumbed to his injuries on August 10, 2024. In true hero fashion, he has given the gift of life to others by being an organ and tissue donor.

Our family wants to give thanks to all of the first responders, ICU staff at Memorial Hospital, Donor Alliance, and The Lewan Xerox Family.

Kevin is survived by his father, Rich Bland, and Krista Bland of Blossom, Texas; stepfather Jim Larsen, and Sarah Larsen of Cripple Creek, Colorado; sister, Michelle Bland of Paris, Texas; brother, Matthew Bland of El Dorado, Arkansas; nephew, Joshua Blackwell of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and so many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Larsen.

Please join us in a celebration of Kevin's life which will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Colorado Springs Elks Lodge # 309 located at 3400 North Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Parking is located behind the building.
