Karen Summers

Karen Summers passed away unexpectedly at her home in Woodland Park, Co on December 5, 2024.

Born on September 5, 1951 to the late Mary Agnes and Irvin Gehlhausen in Jasper, Indiana. 

Karen was a dedicated employee finding her niche working for Hewlett Packard until injured while at a part time position. She persevered in spite of her injury and overcame many hardships. She was a dedicated and devoted member of the Catholic Church, an avid reader, and a lover of the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, hiking and working in her yard.  

She is Survived by her Children. Jennifer and her husband Ted. Robert and his wife Cynthia. Her Grandchildren, Emily, Jessica, Victor and Grayson. Her siblings, Mark and his wife Theresa, Kathy and her husband Jeff, and Julia. Her many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents and her brother Joe.  

Her legacy will live on through her children, family and friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date both here and in Indiana.
