It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Justin Micheal Hopkins on December 15, 2025, while walking his beloved dog, Bowser.
Justin will be fondly remembered as a kind, funny, and gentle soul who loved his family above all else. He rarely missed an opportunity to spend time with his dear nephew, Zayden, attending countless hockey games and family celebrations. His presence brought warmth and laughter to every gathering. Justin’s loyalty to his family and his work ethic were second to none.
Although his life was cut short, Justin lived it with joyful passion. He cherished long walks with Bowser, his loyal companion. His love of fly-fishing, a treasured tradition inherited from his grandfather, brought him peace and a deep connection to nature. Justin also enjoyed riding his motorcycle on warm, sunny days in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.
Justin is survived by his mother, Kim Hopkins of St. Louis, MO; his sister, Heather Collins; brother-in-law, Jake Collins; his nephew, Zayden Collins of Alma, CO; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Leon Hopkins.
A celebration of Justin’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pet Rescue Network STL (petrescuenetworkstl.com) in his memory.
Justin’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
