With great sadness, Jody R. Barger passed away May 2025 in Divide, Colorado. Born 1952 in Trenton, NJ. He served in the US Air Force for 6 years and was a proud veteran for the time he served for his country. He is survived by 2 adult daughters (and their spouses) and one adult son (and spouse), as well as 6 grandchildren from New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also survived by one brother, 2 sisters and their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.
Jody relocated to the area in 2000 for employment and the love of Colorado. He worked in the fields of Information Technology and Materials Management for many years. He liked problem solving, making things run efficiently and saving company resources. He had various small businesses over the years, and was always trying out new things and interests
He had a passion for woodworking and carpentry using his many skills to help anyone he could doing side-jobs here and there for friends and family. But his best love was his creative woodworking and various crafts; from wood burning, wood carving on his CNC machine, jewelry making, painting, and photography. Many of his projects were commissioned and sold, but also given as gifts, to share his creativity and love. He had a witty sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh and smile. He will be deeply missed by many.
