Jerry Lee Caudill

Jerry Lee Caudill, 62 of Florissant, CO. DOB 12/05/1957 passed on 06/19/2020 at Penrose main hospital. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Edward Silas Caudill and Joyce Lee Rich.

After attending Englewood high school, he joined the United States Army in September, 1975. He married Dee Dee Marie Faires in October, 1979, who gave him two beautiful children, a daughter, Dawn Marie Caudill and a son, Terry Lynn Caudill as a result of their Union. He later married Laura Leigh Austin August 30, 1999 and again, more formally, on September 21, 2002, thus having a step son, Robert C. Thompson, later adopting Breana Leighanne Caudill at the age of 3 and most recently assuming the custody of 4 more children, ages 9-13 this past November. During this time he’d also been ‘adopted’ by Nicole in the role of a father she’d never had.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Leigh (Austin) Caudill of Florissant, CO, children: Dawn Marie (Caudill) Heyl 40, Littleton, CO, Terry Lynn Caudill, Akron, CO, Robert C. Thompson, Woodland Park, CO, Breana Leighanne Caudill, Florissant, CO plus 4 kin like children. Grandchildren: Lilly Taylor, Dalton Reed, Silas Lee, Bear Edgar and River Lee. Sister, Cinda (Caudill) Cross, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew’s.

Services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 2 pm at the Florissant Grange, arrangements by Mountain Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to be at Pikes Peak National Cemetery at a later date.
