Jeffery Scott "Jeff" Dickson was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved being outside, fishing, hunting, and enjoying all things nature had to offer. He was a man who enjoyed taking a hands-on approach to life.


Jeff Dickson of Florissant died Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Memorial Central Hospital in Colorado Springs. He was 62.


He was born Mar. 31, 1962, in Coalinga, CA to Curtis and Reba (Vickers) Dickson.


He graduated from Rochelle High School in 1980 and married Donna Johnson on July 21, 1984.


Mr. Dickson worked as a machinist for WallRam LPT Inc. at the time of his death. Prior to his 36 years of working as a machinist, he served in the HSC, 5th Attach Helicopter Battalion for the Army as a helicopter crew chief.


Mr. Dickson is survived by his wife, Donna Dickson; a son, Corey Dickson, and his daughter, Emily Weitzel; three grandchildren, William Weitzel, Connor and Margaret Dickson; brothers Roger Dickson and Barry Dickson; sister Rose Dickson.


His mother, Reba Dickson; father, Curtis Dickson; two brothers, Tom and Jerry Dickson; his mother-in-law, Willene Johnson and his father-in-law, Don Johnson, died earlier.


A memorial service will be available for family members and close friends to attend. Please contact a family member if you would like details regarding attendance.
