Jacob "Jake" Dacus

Jacob Ryan Dacus (Jake), born in Colorado Springs, CO on August 31, 1998 went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2022.

Jake is survived by his mom, Dana Dacus and her spouse Joel Davidson; his father Alan Dacus and his wife Jodi; his two siblings, sister Danielle Beck and her husband Cory and their daughter Emery; his brother Zachery Dacus; his grandparents Scott & Maggie Holway; grandmother Georgia Dacus; girlfriend, Lexi and best friend, Doug; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.  He is preceded in death by his grandfather Burnell Dacus.

Jake was a foreman for Park Vista Builders.  His hobbies included four-wheeling in the mountains in his jeep, attending concerts, working on vehicles, hunting, fishing and camping.  Jake loved more than anything getting together and surrounding himself with family and friends.

Services will be held at Mountain Memorial Funeral Home in Divide, CO on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 4:30 pm.  Following the service Jake’s favorite dinner will be served.

Another Celebration of Jake’s life is planned for the summer of 2022, details to follow later.
