Jackson Kaczmarek Obituary

Jackson "Jack" Kaczmarek, 23 years of age, passed away on February 5, 2024, at his home in Cripple Creek, Colorado.  Jack passed away from a lethal combination of alcohol and prescription medication.

Jack was born November 1, 2000, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the only child of Bridgette D.  Harrison  and Gerald M. Kaczmarek and "son" to Dustin Harrison and "brother" to Jacob Williams. Jack was smart, funny, and loved concerts and music.  While he may have been a troubled soul, he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  There was nothing he wouldn't do for people, or animals.  He was able to travel to Vegas in 2015 and Paris with me in 2016, which he loved and always wanted to revisit. I am so happy he had those experiences.  He was very philosophical and deep.  Some of his conversations could really make you think.  Even when he was younger, he was always so reflective, even creating his own religion at the age of 10.  He could analyze and strategize amazingly well, and almost better than me.

He will be deeply missed by so many.  The love and support we have received has been overwhelming and we cannot thank you all enough.

I have created a Playlist of songs Jack, Dustin and I would listen to and that remind us of him. I am happy to share. If you knew Jack's taste in music, yes, it is a wide variety from Beatles to Korn. While not his favorite, I will always think of him when I hear Linkin Park's, Leave Out All the Rest. I encourage you all to really listen to the words. To me, I imagine that is what he would say right now.

In lieu of flowers and cards, a donation may be made in his name to HSPPR, TCRAS or Alcoholics Anonymous.  Jack loved animals so I am thinking he would prefer HSPPR and TCRAS, but as a mother, consider AA and NA as well.

Services are scheduled for February 11, 2024 at Mountain Memorial, at 2 pm. Mountain Memorial is located on the northwest corner of Highway 24 and 67 in Divide, Colorado. All are welcome.
