Henry Harding Obituary

Henry Tracey Harding also known by some as “Hardware Hank”, was 81 years young when he passed on with the Angels at UHC Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. Henry lived in Florissant, CO for over 30 years.  He died on Thursday, April 17 at 1:35 am from pneumonia.

Henry was born on August 11, 1943 in Sioux Falls, SD to Sidney and Evelyn Harding.  Henry married Dolores Laufenberg on April 15, 1963.  In his younger years Henry worked as a milk man, construction work and Northern States Power Company until starting a career with National Manufacturing Company for 29 years and then Stanley Hardware before retiring in 2015.  Henry then worked at Cripple Creek Hardware and Florissant Hardware part-time a couple days a week until passing.

Henry deeply enjoyed his men’s retreat (Godly Free-For-All) every August.  This involved camping for the weekend, cooking out, speakers for Saturday and Sunday, and great discussion and prayer time.

Henry was born into a Baptist family, met Dolores (Dee), and became a Catholic.   Hank is survived by his spouse, Dolores, daughter, Pamela Barrett,  and two sons,  Jeffrey Harding,  and Joseph Harding 57, and his sister Donna Faller.

Predeceased by sisters Mary Jo Lutnes, Connie Meyer, and brother James Harding.
