Helen Lien Obituary

Helen H. M. Lien, 98, died October 23, 2023, at Pikes Peak Care Center in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born June 8, 1925, and grew up along the Red River Valley in Grafton, ND.

Helen enjoyed attending Bible Study classes and reading the Bible. She was fond of movies of the 1940s, as well as comedies and mysteries. She had a passion for laughter. Her children and her home were some of the many joys in her life.

Helen is survived by her children R. Bradley Lien of Colorado Springs, CO and Anita H. Bruner of Centennial, CO.

Granddaughters Sarah M. Stoner and her husband Michael, and Laura L. Bruner and her husband Elie Zwiebel, great-grandchildren Charlotte and Ari. Helen is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eva and Victor Monson, brother Irving Monson and sister Phyllis Mundt.
