Greg Hagen Obituary

Greg Lynn Hagen passed away the morning of Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 at his home in Pine Junction, Colorado. He was 63 years old.  He passed away from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Greg was born in Denver, Colorado.  He was the youngest of three children born to his parents Lester and Minnie Hagen.  In his younger years Greg enjoyed listening to music, going 4 wheeling with his best friend Greg Johnson and running.  He ran many long distance races including placing in the top runners for the Mount Evans Hill Climb.  Greg owned his own excavating business for many years.

Greg and his wife Sandi were married for 34 years.  They had two daughters, Kelly and Casey.  Greg was very passionate about many things but he was especially committed to his family.  One of his greatest joys was snowboarding with his girls and watching them play sports.  People who knew him will remember that he had a brilliantly positive and generous heart.  He was always trying to make people laugh and he cared deeply about the people in his life.  He was also very passionate about his faith.

He is survived by his wife, Sandi; daughters, Kelly and Casey; son-in-law, Jason; grandchildren, Josh and Jennavieve: sister, Janice; and brother, Arlen.

He is preceded by his father, Lester, and his mother, Minnie.

A memorial to honor and remember Greg will be held at 1:00 PM on May 23rd at his home.

Greg's family would especially like to thank the many friends and co-workers who have shown their support and love.  Your prayers and care have been meaningful as we grieve.
