Gene "Red" Williams

Gene Weston Williams, known by his friends as “Red,” passed away at home in Woodland Park, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.  He was 88.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Ruth; son, Don, and daughter-in-law, Tina, of Craig, Colorado, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Gene & Ruth were the original owners of Williams Log Cabin Furniture and spent much of their recreational time with the Ute Pass Crickets RV Club, and the Woodland Park Saddle Club.

A very informal Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, between 10:00 a.m. and Noon, at Woodland Park Senior Center, 321 N Pine St, Woodland Park (SE corner of Pine and Lake Avenue behind City Hall). Red had many friends in the community, and we hope you will come and share a story or two.
