Frank N. Lucy, 80, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on June 16, 2024. Born on January 3, 1944, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Joseph Orson Lucy and the late Jessie B. Lucy. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Orson Lucy Jr.

He graduated from Hot Springs High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1962. He attended college courses for Art in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from San Diego Golf Academy in 1989.

Frank served honorably in the Navy from 1966 to 1971, where his commitment and dedication to service were evident.

He met Sharon in California in 1968 on a Dependent's Day cruise where she was with a friend from high school. They married in June 1969. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, they moved to Colorado.

He worked and medically retired as a Power Plant Mechanic at Martin Drake Power Plant, shared his love for golf as a Golf Pro at several golf courses, provided security at Ent Credit Union, and later drove for O'Reilly Auto Parts.

He was a member of Pikes Peak Biker Church, reflecting his passion for motorcycles, particularly his Harley Davidson, named Bubbles. Frank was not only a creator of art but also an avid player of billiards and golf, which were among his favorite pastimes.

Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon; his daughter, Jennifer, and son-in-law, Dave; his son, Brian; his grandson, Nicholas; his granddaughter, Ashlee; his great-granddaughter, HarLea; and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held later at Pikes Peak National Cemetery. Some members of the biker church and Pikes Peak HOG #405 had an honor ride for him through Garden of the Gods on June 26th, 2024 - arranged in part by Nicholas. Mountain Memorial Funeral Home in Divide, Colorado, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Frank's life was marked by his varied interests, deep personal relationships, and a commitment to his community and country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
