Edward (Jay) Lawrence Selvey, Jr.
Ed was born July 11, 1958 to Bernice and Edward Selvey, Sr. He had two brothers Craig Selvey and Brad Selvey and a sister, Cindy Headrick. He graduated from Ponca City, Oklahoma High School in 1976. Ed held jobs as a florist, he was a cable guy, and an asbestos removal specialist but the career that made him the happiest was being a servant and teacher of Jehovah. Ed dedicated his life to Jehovah in baptism on February 17, 1990 and served faithfully until his death.
Edward is survived by his wife Twana Sue Selvey of Grand Junction, Colorado. His daughter Trina Jean Selvey (Michelle Jean Cummings) of Lodi, California. Ed is also survived by James and Kari Stephens (Johnathan and Kiara) whom he considered his adopted family. Survived also by his sister, Cindy Headrick and his brother Brad Selvey.
Edward is preceded in death by a wife, Linda Jean Selvey (Albee) on February 5, 2019 and his brother Craig Selvey in February 2016
Ed enjoyed fishing and going camping or just taking a drive out in Jehovah’s creation. He loved going to share a meal with his brothers and sisters in the truth. He volunteered his time helping at kingdom hall builds and the assembly hall. He liked searching for rocks called himself a rock hound. He was fascinated with trains, wolves, antiques and old books. Ed was a very kind generous man who would do anything for anyone if it was within his means. He will be loved and missed by all that had the privilege to know him.
