Colby Lee Stewart left his life on Earth on May 28th, 2024, at the age of 33, in Salida, CO. Colby passed away peacefully in his sleep. Colby was born March 5th, 1991, in Colorado Springs, CO to Leonard and Debra Stewart.
Colby is survived by his father Leonard (Katrina) Stewart of Alamogordo, NM, brother Jesse (Paige) Stewart of Pueblo, CO, sister Kelly Stewart of Woodland Park, CO and 1 niece and 4 nephews. He precedes his mother Debra Stewart, Grandmother Georgia Clifford and Grandfather Donald Clifford.
Colby went to Cripple Creek-Victor High School and graduated in 2009. During his time in high school, he volunteered with Four Mile Fire Protection District, where he was a Firefighter and first responder.
Colby was a kindhearted person, always giving and not wanting much in return. His absence will not go unnoticed. Colby always took the time out of his day to make sure everyone had a smile on their face.
Colby was an avid sports fan from baseball to basketball to football. Everyone knew Colby as the Bronco fanatic, who would forever bleed blue and orange. He also loved playing video games, hiking with his dog Oso, camping and being with friends and family.
Viewing will be Thursday May 29th, 2024, at 2pm at Mountain Memorial Funeral Home, in Divide, CO 80814. Services for Colby will be announced at a later date.
