Carole Lee St John

Carole Lee St John, 79, of Monument, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Born in San Francisco, California, she was the daughter of Cecil H. Wright and Veda L. Wright. Carole’s career was spent primarily in the restaurant industry, where she worked diligently and with determination.

While Carole's relationships were often marked by distance, she still held a strong sense of responsibility toward her family. She enjoyed swimming and had a deep love for the many dogs she cared for over the years. Though she may not have always expressed her feelings openly, Carole’s presence will be missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Potter; son, Brian St. James, Daughter in Law Jina St James; former Son in Law Chris Mompher and her grandchildren, Morgan Mompher, Hailey Mompher, Alissa St. James, Madison Mompher, Natalie St. James, Kailyn St. James, Matthew St. James, Owen St. James, and Ethan St. James.

Carole was preceded in death by her former husband, Ronald Vincent Potter (1992), with whom she shared important chapters of her life, as well as her parents, Cecil H. Wright (1989) and Veda L. Wright (2001), and her brother, William Wright (2018).

A service to celebrate Carole’s life will be announced at a later time. She will be remembered in her own way, leaving behind a lasting impact on her family.
