Bill D. Cole

On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, Bill D. Cole, loving husband, father and grandfather (Papaw) passed away peacefully at the age of 91 surrounded by his family. 

Bill was born on October 12, 1931 in Jumping Branch, West Virginia. He served his beloved America during the Korean War. After returning home, he attended Morris Harvey College and went on to enjoy a successful career in Pharmaceuticals. 

He was the leader of a family who he loved and was loved by to the very end. He will be sadly missed and will hold a place in our hearts forever. 

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ruth, his son David (Cheryl) and his beloved grandchildren, Jessica, Bradley and Caitlyn (Casey), his brother Jim (Jan) and sister Betty.

His body will be cremated with a celebration of life planned for after the holidays where Bill will receive his military honors. 

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to Abode Hospice who took loving care of Bill over the last three months.
