Betsey M. (Waddell) Hutchinson unexpectedly passed away on December 15, 2021 at the age of 87 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She had been a resident of Divide, Colorado for 29 years. Betsey was born April 1, 1934 in Philip, South Dakota to Hiram and Bertha Waddell. She and Roger married on July 20, 1952 in White River, South Dakota.

She is survived by her husband, Roger, one brother, Jim (Leah), one daughter, Sherry, two sons, Michael (June) and Eric, Five grandsons, Ian, James, Brian, Carl & Liam, and three great grandsons, Everett, Greysen & Oliver.

Betsey enjoyed traveling the world, was an avid reader, and loved spending time with her grandsons and great grandsons.

Betsey will be cremated and will be remembered with a small family gathering.
